In August of 2020, Galion Middle School added Tiger Closet located in the main office of our building. Tiger Closet houses a variety of new and gently used dress code appropriate clothes and Tiger Spirit Wear items. These articles of clothing are available on a day-to-day basis to all of our students who might experience occasional rips, tears and stains in their own attire; or who might be in violation of our dress code policy upon arrival to school.
In our Tiger Closet, we store junior and adult sizes of khaki pants and shorts along with polo and crew neck shirts in both male and female styles. In addition, we carry a small supply of footwear, socks, and undergarments, along with a variety of winter coats and jackets. For our families who are experiencing financial difficulties and are unable to purchase dress code items for their student(s), we are able to provide an adequate supply of school appropriate campus wear directly from our Tiger Closet.

In addition, families experiencing hardships who are unable to purchase dress code items for their student(s) might also qualify for a voucher to a select number of local merchants who carry Galion school district appropriate campus wear. To find out if your family qualifies for a dress code voucher, please contact your child's respective school building.
On occasion, our schools will also organize campus wear donation drives. Dates, times and locations for clothes drives will be announced on our school website and social media sites. Donations throughout the school year are welcome. However, as our storage is limited, we kindly ask that you contact our Family Resource Center first to confirm your donation and arrange the drop off. Attention GMS Friends and Family! GMS Family Resource Center needs gently used backpacks for boys and girls. If you have a backpack that you would like to donate to our school, please drop it off either at the office during school hours or at the Resource Center, located in the lobby of the GMS building, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00 PM.
