Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Why Volunteer?


To say that our parents and guardians tend to be busy is an understatement of the century! Daily routines and chores alone can overwhelm the best of us.  So to all our parents who are willing to find an hour or two in their busy schedules to become one of our school volunteers, our response is always thank you!  We appreciate your time and your efforts.

Please know that you are making a difference in your child's education.  Data shows that students whose parents are actively engaged in school's activities preform better academically and score higher on state tests.  They also tend to have better attendance record and are far less likely to have disciplinary issues.

There are so many benefits to becoming a school volunteer!
Other benefits of being a school volunteer include getting to know your child's teachers and other staff members. You will also get to know other parents and guardians, and without a doubt expand your circle of friends.  Together you will grow our community and ensure our students become a part of it.  Lastly, being a school volunteer can be good for your health as studies show a direct correlation between volunteering and positive physical and mental health.
