Through established relationships with community organizations, social service agencies, and healthcare providers, our Family Resource Center offers an array of services geared to improve social, economic, physical and mental well-being of our families. Our service partners include: Crawford County Department of Job & Family Services, Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission, YMCA, Galion Public Library, Avita Health Systems, Community Counseling Services, and many more.
We also understand that every family experiences hardships from time to time. Studies have shown these hardships often impact students’ ability to perform academically and/or interact with peers socially. For that reason, we strive to directly provide services and/or connect families with service providers in the community to assist them in their time of need. Offered services range from basic needs and financial assistance to counseling referrals, adult education and career advising. |
On our premises, our Family Resource Center offers school supplies to students in need, as well as basic hygiene items and toiletries. Our Tiger Closet is stocked with dress code clothing items and tiger spirit wear, along with a small supply of footwear and winter coats. To further help our students and our families in need, our district has employed a fully licensed Social Worker. Any family experiencing hardship or is in a need of a specific service is encouraged to submit our FRC Assistance Request Form. Once your form is submitted, one of our staff members will be in touch with you to set up a one-on-one consultation. |
